SHINEDOWN Interviewed On WDHA's 'Box Of Rock' (Video)
May 7, 2012Drummer Barry Kerch and bassist Eric Bass of the Jacksonville, Florida-based hard rock/post-grunge band SHINEDOWN were interviewed by Terrie Carr for the latest edition of "Box Of Rock" on WDHA-FM 105.5 FM, the rock music station licensed to Dover and Morristown, New Jersey. SHINEDOWN's fourth studio album, titled "Amaryllis", sold 106,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 4 on The Billboard 200 chart.
SHINEDOWN landed the biggest debut of its career in July 2008 when its third album, "The Sound Of Madness", sold 50,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at No. 8 on the Billboard Top 200. This marked the first Top 10 album of the band's career.
"Amaryllis" arrived in stores almost four years after the band issued "The Sound Of Madness".
The first single from "Amaryllis", "Bully", topped the rock radio charts. The new single is called "Unity".
The million-selling "The Sound Of Madness" yielded six chart-topping singles like "Second Chance", "Devour", "If You Only Knew" and the title track. It debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200, spending 120 weeks on the album chart.
SHINEDOWN is headlining the 2012 edition of the Avalanche Tour, which kicked off on March 27 in Anaheim, California, with ADELITAS WAY, NEW MEDICINE and ART OF DYING also on the bill.
